LogicQ was betrokken bij SharePoint Connections 2011, welke op 22 en 23 november vond in de Meervaart te Amsterdam. Bekende SharePoint experts uit Europa en de Verenigde Staten delen graag hun kennis en ervaring met IT-professionals, ontwikkelaars en business managers over de laatste producten en technologieën.

Op deze derde SharePoint Connections sprak Steve Fox, Microsoft directeur, developer en SharePoint evangelist. Zijn keynote "Evolving Collaboration into the Cloud: Implications & Opportunities"

Totaal waren er meer dan 35 kennissessies en LogicQ heeft Bert Jan van der Steeg en Jaap Wesselius gevraagd een sessie in te vullen rond Office365 en Identity Federation.

“ When your company considers moving to Office 365 as the collaboration and communication platform, you have
a few choices with regards to user management and authentication. You can either perform a migration and move your users to the Office 365 directory or you can keep using your own Active Directory. By implementing some form of Identity Federation you can achieve coexistence, providing the benefits of a cloud based service while maintaining control over your authentication store.
This session looks at the pros and cons of both situations and demonstrates a federation scenario based on ADFS 2.0.”
